Claire Walsh

When Claire's husband died in 2015, she began writing about her life as a widow.

Her everyday experiences of life after loss were jotted down in notebooks, on the computer, some making it onto the pages of her blog 'The Pink Widow'.

This book is a collection of some of that writing.

Raw, and at times brutal.

Honest, and at times funny.

This book will make you laugh, cry and cry some more.

It is not a memoir; it is not a self-help manual. It's the rants, ramblings, thoughts and feelings of an ordinary woman grieving her way and sharing it with you, with love and solidarity.

David Hewitt & Michelle Bauduin

David is an established author and semi-retired professional engineer who has held three Quality Director roles and now runs his own business helping other businesses to improve their quality systems. His diagnosis of prostate cancer (at Gleason 9) shocked the whole family and changed his life. Intrusive treatments followed over an 18-month period. Now, he currently has a PSA blood reading that is undetectable after several months of zero readings. He still doesn't really understand how this has happened but this book details his journey - it is emotional and heart-tugging but also contains valuable lessons learned along the way. It was never an option not to get through this and never an option to give in. He wants to share this with you and if this helps then it has done the job it was intended to do.

"I want to project hope and inspiration. Awareness of this killer is fundamental to recovery - please go and get tested because early diagnosis can save

lives."

Michelle is a professional holistic health practioner and Yoga Instructor who has worked within the field of natural therapies and wellbeing for most of her life. She specialises in helping people to relax, reduce anxiety, restore, rebalance body systems and learn how to increase their general well-being through the use of complementary therapies. A holistic approach to health & well-being takes into consideration the body as a whole, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Part 2 of this book shows how this approach helped David on his journey through recovery of prostate cancer and beyond, with easy-to-understand information. “My contribution to this book, along with David, is with the aim to help prostate cancer sufferers and men of all ages learn that ancient wellness techniques incorporated into everyday life can really make the difference in a positive way!” We hope that by sharing this information it will make people aware that prevention is as important as cure!

The Swim Taxi

Hits the Road

Think of the Little Book of Calm in a swimsuit and goggles and you may get somewhere close to this little book.

Gill gives a hilarious view of being a swim parent in a series of 'tweet' style comments. Even if you're not a swim parent, this book will give you light in the swimming lanes of parenthood.

The Swim Taxi

Hits The Road Again

Gill Smith is a swim parent. Her life is spent as a taxi service ferrying her two children around as they compete in swimming competitions and galas. Life is hectic and there is much to think of, forms to fill in, bags to get ready and food and drinks to have in readiness for hungry and thirsty little swimmers.

In her second book of observational tweets, Gill continues to enlighten us all to the joys of being a Swim Parent.
